The TRANQUILITY slide in / walk in bath with extra large internal accommodation

While the TRANQUILITY walk in bath provides a low step in height for pedestrian access it also lends itself where the user might need to transfer from a seat or wheelchair. It might therefore be designated a 'slide in' bath.

The bath is available in two sizes and the extra large outward opening door (800mm access) is shaped to expose the internal seat facilitating easier entry and exit whilst remaining in the seated position. The door is secured shut by means of a simple-to-operate external lever.

The accommodation is generous too, offering internal width options of 525mm and 600mm and total internal length of 1110mm. The internal depth of 840mm has an unoccupied water capacity of 285 litres (max), although the actual amount necessary to fill will be dependant on the amount of water displaced by the occupant.

The bath is fitted with 2 internal grab rails and a 2" waste outlet to ensure rapid emptying. Maximum suggested user weight is 35 Stones (222 Kg).

As with all walk in baths we strongly recommend the use of a Thermostatically controlled taps or a Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) on the hot water inlet of this bath to prevent scalding. If you require further information please ask.
