3/4" Quarter Turn Ceramic Disk Tap Valves (Professional range)

Suitable to replace most 3/4" quarter turn ceramic tap valves.

Used in many bath taps with larger 22mm (or 3/4") supply pipework.

3/4" BSP thread on body.

Sold as a pair.

3/4" Ceramic disc quarter turn tap valve cartridge

Note:

There can be subtle differences in the manufacture of this type of valve. These differences result in small variations in the overall dimensions. Most valves will share similarities - a 3/4" BSP fitting (the threaded part) and the diameter of the valve body will always remain the same but the height/s may differ.

Differences can often be recognised visually, but it pays to measure as best possible.

Two types of very similar valve are shown below. You may however notice that the bottom seal on Type 1 is incorporated within a brass ring that extends how far the body of the valve projects into the brassware by a couple of millimetres, whereas the the seal on the Type 2 valve fits inside the lower body making the valve slightly shorter. Only subtle, but you will appreciate what a difference this might make.
