Guidance:
Q. What width should I
buy?
A. It is wise to select
a curtain bigger than the width you wish to enclose. If your
opening is 2m wide and you buy a 2m curtain it will need to
be stretched tight (like a drum skin) to do its job. Better
to select a curtain that leaves a little slack so it won't
necessarily pull open at the slightest touch by the bather.
Q. I need a curtain
wider than those offered. Can you supply bigger?
A. Yes we can, but
consider how the curtain will sit when stowed, or if
assistance might need to be given to the bather whilst
showering. A single large curtain can sometimes be
impractical, unsightly and difficult to draw and stow. Often
better to use two smaller curtains drawing from opposite
directions. Such a configuration will be easier to use,
offer access if a carer is necessary without having to pull
the curtain out of the way (negating its purpose) and will
stow more neatly. |
