Bar shower mixer valve as standard - unique easy-fit system
A special mounting plate is factory fitted to
the pod wall, which means that on site you simply need to connect the
mixer to the hot and cold feeds with the valve nuts. On the reverse of
the mounting plate flexible pipes hang down the back of the unit and
these can be accessed via the removable panel at the front of the base
to allow easy attachment to the piped supplies with the push-fit
connectors provided. The rest of the shower fittings are then simply
Built-in shower valve option
built-in valve is factory fitted, which means that on site you simply
need to connect the mixer to the hot and cold feeds on the reverse of
the valve and connect the shower hose via the bulkhead. The rest of the
fittings are then simply screw fixed.
If you prefer an
If you would prefer to have an electric
shower a Coram shower pod will accommodate one easily. Due to vast
options based on operational requirements, and of course personal
preferences, a model including electric shower equipment is not offered
(it would be too complicated to do so). You can however order a Coram
shower pod 'empty', that is to say without shower equipment. This
attracts a discount to the price and allows you to install whichever
make and model you prefer (shower equipment must therefore be bought
special commercial application an anti-ligature fixed sprayhead is also
Shower valve specifications
The 'Bar type'
valve operates to a TMV2 level of control. It's
operational pressure range is 0.25 bar - 5 bar
(suitable for lower pressure, mains pressure
and pumped systems). Delivery flow rate range is
between 5 and 13 litres per minute.
The optional 'Concentric
sequential type' valve operates to a TMV3 level of control.
It's operational pressure range is 0.1 bar - 10 bar
(suitable for lower pressure, mains pressure and
pumped systems). Delivery flow rate range is between
14 and 35 litres per minute. Equipped with
anti-scald rapid cut-off.
